The Trent Valley Navigation Company (TVN) was a steamboat and navigation enterprise based in Bobcaygeon in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It wasn’t a massive corporate behemoth, but it played a significant role in shaping travel, commerce, and tourism in the Kawartha Lakes region.

As we prepare to celebrate Bobcaygeon’s 150th anniversary, we are inviting residents, families, and community members to help bring our history to life.

Do you have old photographs of Bobcaygeon — past events, streetscapes, businesses, cottages, community gatherings, or everyday life through the years? We would love to share them as part of our anniversary historical display.

• Please mount each photo on black construction paper 

• Ensure names, dates, or a short description are included if possible

• Mounted photos will be displayed on a community wall for everyone to enjoy
