STUDENT JURIED ART SHOW

February 27 - March 27, 2010

The opening reception and annoucement of the winner for the Juried Student Art Show
will be held Sat. March 6 between 1 and 3 p.m.

Open to high school students residing in the City of Kawartha Lakes
and Haliburton County

ENTRY FEE
$5 per painting (maximum of 3)

DEADLINES

Deliver all work to the Gallery on Saturday, February 27, 2010, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.  The Gallery is located in the historic Boyd Building, 21 Canal Street East, behind the Bobcaygeon Library.

All works must be picked up by the Artist on Saturday, March 27, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. 

AWARDS

Awards will be presented at the Opening Reception on Saturday, March 6, 2010.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1.   Maximum 3 pieces per artist.
      Note:  All work must be accompanied by the appropriate fee.

2.   Each work must be clearly labeled with artist’s name, title, medium and sale or insurance value attached to the back. Note:  If the work is not for sale, label “NFS”.

3.   The artist agrees to the reproduction of their art for gallery promotion and marketing purposes.

4.   All work must be original and completed within the past 18 months.

5.   All work must be suitable for hanging, ie:framed, etc.

6.   Work may not exceed 36” x 36”.

7.   The Gallery will assume responsibility for loss or damage through theft, fire, vandalism from time of arrival until the specified pick-up time.

8.   Works may not be removed from the Gallery until the exhibition closes.

9. Work may include painting in any medium, drawings, photography and mixed media.
